Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver structured training programmes in accordance with SAAF standards and curriculum requirements.
  • Instruct trainees in various areas including aviation fundamentals, military tactics, physical fitness, weapons handling, and leadership development.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations, simulations, and exercises to reinforce learning objectives and enhance trainee proficiency.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to trainees to facilitate their professional growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors and military leadership to continuously improve training methodologies and curriculum content.
  • Uphold and enforce discipline, safety protocols, and adherence to military regulations among trainees.
Qualifications
  • Previous military experience in the South African Air Force or equivalent armed forces branch.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in aviation, military tactics, and related subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Physical fitness and ability to participate in training activities alongside trainees.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as required.
  • Teaching or instructional experience is an advantage.
