Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant degree program in fields such as criminology, law enforcement, social sciences, public administration, or a related discipline.
  • Genuine interest in community safety, crime prevention, and promoting positive community-police relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Understanding of the socio-economic challenges faced by communities in KwaZulu-Natal (desirable).
  • Valid driver's license (desirable).
